///@roardose: The giant phantom jelly (Stygiomedusa gigantea) is the largest known jellyfish species. Their bell (the main body of the jellyfish) can grow up to 1.3 meters (4.3 feet) in diameter. Even more astounding are the four long, trailing tentacles. These can stretch an incredible 10 meters (33 feet) long.
These jellyfish are typically found 1,000-4,000 meters (3,300 - 13,100 feet) in the ocean’s bathypelagic zone, also known as the midnight zone due to the absence of sunlight. Jellyfish can endure the extreme pressures at this depth due to their gelatinous bodies which effectively absorb the pressure.
