#Repost///@oneminmicro: What would happen if we mixed white blood cells and GIANT GERMS?!This is really some of my most craziest footage to date!My friendly molecules, you are about to witness hours of footage, totalling nearly 50gb of data - all compiled into the space of 60 seconds!Enjoy this footage as you watch my white blood cells take on behemoth-sized (relative) single cell organisms…I’m pretty stoked I was able to capture this! White blood cells move quite slow and so much of this footage is sped up appropriately 1000x. This is the only way to really watch the white blood cells in action. This is also the first time I’ve ever seen them latch onto a larger organism. I suspect that they must bore away or slowly dissolve parts of the cell membrane, causing the larger organism to eventually pop open! Big love - Walt
