At kitchen table after kitchen table, in bedroom after bedroom, in significant numbers, Texans are choosing life and liberty over their jobs.
Texas businesses are in a bind. If they follow unconstitutional, illegal orders from the feds, enough employees will go Galt so that the businesses will not be able to provide the services or products they offer to the public. (You think we have supply shortages now? Just let this federal tyranny stand.)
Our military contractors will not be able to produce the weapons our armed services need. If businesses side with their employees on the side of medical liberty and their employees' unalienable natural rights to decline vaccination and bodily autonomy, the feds say they will hurt the businesses.
Texas business should join forces with their employees to fight against this federal tyranny.
And our governor and Texas Legislature need to protect the people and businesses of Texas from this destruction of our liberty and economy.
That's what they were hired to do, right? That's the purpose of government right? To secure these rights.

I consider those two words to be inseparably linked. I don’t think you can be happy unless you are grateful for the good things in life.
Going further, the source of most of the current unhappiness that is ripping our state and union apart is that so many people focus on their grievances, instead of their blessings.
The framers wrote in the Declaration about certain unalienable rights among which was the pursuit of happiness. It is not an accident that the pictured framer who was out fighting in the field while the Declaration was being written and signed, proclaimed the first Thanksgiving in his first year in the office of president.
George Washington understood that the key to the pursuit of happiness is an attitude of gratitude. In other words, the successful way to pursue happiness is to focus on your blessings, not your grievances.
The root cause of most of our political problems, today, is that broken, miserable, lost people that have fallen into a downward spiral of always focusing on the negative are trying to bring the rest of us into their misery.
These people are on a mission to make sure that those of us who focus on and work toward the positives in life are stopped by psychological manipulation using the tools of fear and guilt, or if necessary brute force to keep us from exercising our natural, unalienable rights to pursue happiness.
I am grateful for much. In the political realm, I am grateful for our heritage of liberty and the example of the framers who had the courage to change the things they could, the patience to accept the things they couldn’t, and the wisdom to know the difference. I am grateful for their attitude of gratitude.
I am grateful to them for writing the Declaration of Independence, thereby giving us a document that tells us the mission and moral grounding of our governments. I am grateful for written constitutions that that they created at the state and federal level that sought to bind governments down to secure our rights.
And I am grateful that, although the window is rapidly contracting, we still have the freedom and power to stop those unhappy people who are using all their power and skill to try to ruin the happiness of the rest of us.

Well worth listening to the entire show. The show includes a clarion call on going on the offensive against the COVID tyrants.
And it includes jaw dropping stats presented by a celebrated doctor at the top of his field (Peter McCullough) about how vaccines hurt more kids than they help. The tide is turning in the globalist, marxist surge for dominance.

You know the thing, right? "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"
Governments are instituted after all "to secure these rights." Not violate them, or force or allow employers, or schools, or transportation companies to violate them.
So, what does "unalienable: mean?
If you want to know what the framers meant by the words they used, there is no better place than Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary. That is why he wrote it, after all. (See http://webstersdictionary1828.com )
Unalienable, according to Mr. Webster means "not alienable." Duh. But then we see the meat of the matter, "may not be transferred; as unalienable rights."
If you go a bit deeper, you find the definition of "alienate": "To transfer title, property or right to another; as to alienate . . . sovereignty."
So the question, fellow Texans, is: is the natural right to bodily autonomy (including the right to decline vaccinations) unalienable. Can this right be bargained away in exchange for employment, or travel, or education, or governmental service?
I don't think so. What say you?

First Look at Texas House Redistricting
The counties of Denton, Collin, and Fort Bend, and the I-35 corrido each get a new district harvested from lower growth parts of the state.
One of the most effective ways to defeat lying, weasel tyrants is to laugh at them and to mock them.

He times his announcement to make it easier for those redistricting to carve up his Northeast Texas district. (Recall that Joe Straus created this district for him during redistricting in 2012 to take out the conservative Wayne Christian.)
Recall that his home county GOP (Harrison) recently censured him for multiple betrayals of the priorities and platform of the GOP.
In this most recent session, Paddie was responsible for killing the RPT priority of ending tax funded lobbying, and he backed Dustin Burrows and the speaker in their bid to protect the governor from executive overreach legislation.
He also refused to hear the all-hazards grid protection bill of Senator Bob Hall (and Matt Shaheen).
He also refused to hear the flagship legislation of this group, the Texas Sovereignty Act.

On this day, September 17, 1787, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed their work, sending it to Congress for transmittal to the states for ratification.
By December 7, 1787, the first state in the confederation ratified it, Delaware. By June 21, 1788, the state 9 of 13, New Hampshire, ratified, making the adoption official.
The four remaining states were then unaffiliated nations until they ratified. Virginia and New York followed quickly, New York ratifying on July 26, 1788.
Many do not know this, but George Washington was elected President and the first Congress was elected and seated when only eleven states were in the Union.
North Carolina did not ratify until its second try on November 21, 1789. And Rhode Island's proud, independent sailors did not come across the wire and join the new Union until May, 29, 1790.
At this time of concerted attack on the Constitution, let us rededicate ourselves to restoring the Republic via enforcing the limits of the Constitution on our servants in DC and in state government.
