Yes, the customer service is the main reason I choose the self-checkout. Realistically most stores will operate with self checkout systems. I quit fighting that reality. I just think we should be compensated a bit for saving the store the effort

Since these retail and grocery stores do have self checkout, and they are saving money on labor, then that savings should be passed on to the customers or prices for items in the stores should be reduced.
