Went to military school at 13 completed with honors a month before my 17th birthday and the morning of my 17th birthday I was in the USMC recruiting station. Spent 4 yrs as a marine and the rest of my career was spent in the Army as a ranger. 95% of my time as a ranger was spent in direct combat. That's what I enlisted for so can't say I'm surprised. Now I live in Northern California.
