After spending 10 years in law enforcement and now almost 35 more years in full time ministry, I've learned a hard and fast truth. "Nothing ever remains the same."

Right when "men" are making their "plans" to move forward - something happens. It's always been that way. In the early days of our nation alone, it was the Revolutionary War, then the War of 1812, then the Civil War. Since then, it's been WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, etc...

In our more immediate lifetime it's been the Gulf War, 9/11, Iraq & Afghanistan, Arab Spring, the Trump years and the leftist's relentless onslaught against him and the American people as a whole, BLM and ANTIFA, Covid-19, tens of thousands of troops and armed-guarded inaugurations, etc. etc.

Right in the middle of the best laid plans...something totally unexpected happens that changes the course of everything. It's called LIFE. That's why the people of God need to always be reminded ... this world is NOT our home. This mess belongs to the kingdom of darkness ... for a little while longer.

Then ... the last trumpet sounds.... And the Kingdom returns to Jesus Christ. Suddenly. Unexpected by the lost world. Like Noah's flood. Like the fire that fell on Lot's day. Instantly. Shockingly. Predicted. Ignored. But, happened. Even so, come Lord Jesus, come!

In the meantime. We have Kingdom work to do. While there's still "light." Let's get to work!
