The #HemingwayCats are six toed cats that live on the property of the #Ernest #Hemingway House and Museum in Key West. Legend is the original six toed cat was a gift given to Hemenway from a ship captain that visited Key west. The many Hemingway cats that live on the property now are descendants of the original cat. Years ago the #HemingwayHouse used to give the cats away to anyone who wanted one. Now, they sell them for $1000 per cat.
