Well the results from the shootout are in.. looks like it's going to get more complicated. Some fliers and some give and take but the potential for both rifles to meet their goals are absolutely there. Now the complicated part, looks like the desert gun (custom built AR) looks like it might bet the .250 moa goal. So, some more details need to be discussed. First the optics, the bolt gun has a viper with a zoom capability of x20. The AR tops out at 16. The bolt gun has a thick mildot reticle and the AR has a thinner bdc reticle. The loads for each rifle are getting pretty good and I believe just a little more trigger time and those groups that winked today should come to reality. Let the discussions begin lol.
