I say that a lot of what they told us doesn't exist or will work itself out in less than 50 years. I'm willing to see if it works, are you? If you want to control people, the easiest way is to find something they will think is a problem and sell them on you having the solution for it. The sheep will not only defend you but also gladly walk to the slaughterhouse.
