Tomorrow ( Jan. 17th ) will be our 17th wedding anniversary. ? Many of you know our story but we have quite a few new friends on here so thought I would share. Dale lost his previous wife in 2002 and I lost my previous husband in 2003 both to cancer. We met online the end of November of 2003. I lived in Texas and he in Virginia. We talked on the computer and phone for 1 1/2 months and pretty well decided that we would get married ( even though we had not met in person yet). Between us we have 15 children with 10 still being at home at the time. Me and my children drove from Texas to Virginia in January of 2004 where Dale and I met in person then married 8 days later on the 17th. Our children that were still at home ranged in age from 18 down to 6. I will not say it was easy because it wasn't. We were all still grieving the loss of our previous family members and blending a large family ( any size actually) can be hard. But we made it! As of a few yrs ago all the children are grown and we are now expecting grandbaby #49 soon. We are enjoying "our time" now and enjoying life!
