ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY: SEPT 4 1875 Democrats Massacred African-Americans in Clinton, Mississippi Democrat devilry. September 4th 1875, Slavery Party thugs in Clinton, Mississippi attacked a barbecue attended by more than a thousand Republicans. Murdered were five Blacks, including two children, and four Whites. Over the following days, Democrats hunted down and slaughtered another fifty Blacks.
