This is my favorite night stand gun.... a S&W Model 637 in .38 Spl. +P with Crimson Trace Grips. Many would bemoan the fact that it only holds five rounds, but I figure if I can't discourage the bad guy with five shots, then I need to switch guns! At only 15 1/2 ounces, it's so light it's a great concealed carry piece. My son bought one that has a titanium cylinder and it only weighs 11 ounces. I warned him to NOT fire it with the hot .357's until he tried it with some plain Jane .38's in it, but he didn't listen. He said it was like having a cherry bomb go off in his hand. He's as hard-headed as his Daddy!
