According to accounts from Ahmad and Iranian exile sources, agents beat him in front of his wife. When Saleheh moved to defend him, one of the officers shot her in the heart. She died inside their home.Her body was taken. Ahmad was detained. Multiple activist reports and testimony attributed to her husband claim that after her death, regime agents used her fingerprint to unlock her phone, sent him images of her body, and subjected him to severe psychological pressure.
