BREAKING: A mother in South Bend, Indiana was shot in the head and killed while trying to protect her son from an armed robber. Jean Gragg, 40, stepped between her son and 18-year-old John Ford after Ford pulled a gun during a Facebook Marketplace watch sale at their home. She put herself in front of the gun and chased him off the property. Surveillance video shows Ford then turned around and shot her multiple times in the back as she ran toward her house. He shot her in the head. Jean Gragg died from her injuries on Saturday. Ford has been charged with murder. This is the kind of evil that too many families are facing. We do not have to live like this.
