BREAKING: Nearly 50,000 residence in the Lake Tahoe area are now being told by NV Energy that after ski season they will no longer get electricity and are on their own because they need to redirect their residential electricity to the new Data Centers/Surveillance Centers being built in Nevada.

Having read some of these, people on the California side are planned to be affected. In theory at least for now, the Nevada side will still receive power.
