No, the commercial wind and solar companies aren't going to recycle the solar panels and wind turbines. Perhaps WTEN may want to read this post, since they refuse to accept the reality of the "green energy" movement. Below is nearly 1 million square feet of dumped wind turbines in a field off Interstate 20 in Sweetwater, Texas. I'll let you read an excerpt from this article right now: "Originally up to 200 feet long — nearly the wingspan of a Boeing 747 — the blades have been cut into thirds, exposing gaping openings. Locals complain they’re a haven for rattlesnakes, collect water that attracts mosquitoes and pose a threat to children living nearby. The town has repeatedly asked the company that left the blades there to remove them, with no success." The wind corporation isn't going to move these turbines. Do you know why? It's expensive! They don't want to pay for that. Processing and recycling these green energy parts costs 5-15x more than simply dumping them on open fields or in landfills. Why are these turbines in open fields? Many landfills have declined to accept solar panels and wind turbines. Landfills do not want these Chinese-manufactured panels and turbines because of a mix of chemical risk, physical handling problems, and regulatory liability. These turbines contain fiberglass, epoxy resins, and carbon fiber. Resins break down slowly, leaching microplastics and chemical additives. Burning them (which some places tried) releases toxic fumes. One singular turbine is 200 feet long. Landfills don't want them. So they dump them instead. It has never, ever been about saving the environment. The green energy subsidies, credits, and the politicians accepting renewable energy lobbying money have created a subsidized market that's paying out foreign corporations while they pillage our American land. These people need to be stopped.
