📖 2 Corinthians 5:21 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
He stood where you should have stood.
The sinless Son of God—who never lied, never lusted, never failed—was treated as if He had committed every sin you and I have ever done.
This is not a picture of weakness; it is a picture of willing sacrifice. Justice was not ignored—it was satisfied.
God did not overlook sin—He judged it fully, but He judged it on Christ instead of you.
That is substitution. That is the Gospel.
The question is not whether Christ took the place of sinners—He did. The question is: Have you taken your place in Him?
You cannot earn righteousness, fix your past, or justify yourself before God. But in Christ, the guilty are declared righteous.
If you reject Him, you will stand before God alone.
If you receive Him, you will stand before God clothed in His righteousness.
One stands condemned.
The other stands justified.
There is no middle ground.
