Debbie Hall (Cloud Appreciation Society Member 49,949) was taking a leisurely morning walk in the park near Escondido, California, US when she spotted cloud rows streaking across the sky. These mid-level clouds, known as Altocumulus, would have the term radiatus added to their classification. That is because they appear to radiate, due to the effect of perspective, from a point near the horizon. Looks like these clouds were about to start their day with a park run rather than a stroll.
