Someone reading this today may feel like something is broken…and no matter what you do… it just won’t go back the way it was.Peace… relationships… purpose… even hope.But what if I told you…👉 the story of what broke this world…is the very story of how it can be healed?⸻🌳 ONE TREE BROKE THE WORLD.ANOTHER TREE SAVED IT.⸻They say that “happiness grows on a tree.”Well… yes and no.Or better yet: No — and then yes.Because the first tree we ever meet in the Bible…didn’t bring happiness at all.It brought something far heavier.⸻🌳 THE FIRST TREE — THE TREE THAT BROUGHT DEATH📖 Genesis 2:16–17 (KJV)“…of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat…”This tree wasn’t poisonous.It wasn’t magical.It wasn’t evil.It was a test.A single moment…to trust God.But then came the serpent…📖 Genesis 3:1–4“Yea, hath God said…?”“Ye shall not surely die.”And just like that…The first doubt.The first distortion of truth.The first step away from God.And it worked.📖 Genesis 3:23–24“…the LORD God sent him forth from the garden…”Paradise lost.Innocence gone.Fellowship broken.📖 Romans 5:12“…by one man sin entered into the world… and so death passed upon all men…”That’s the legacy of the first tree:👉 Sin👉 Separation👉 Death⸻❓ BUT HERE’S THE QUESTION…If one tree broke the world…👉 what could possibly fix it?Not religion.Not effort.Not “being a better person.”📖 2 Corinthians 11:3“But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”Satan complicates.Jesus simplifies.And God’s answer…was not another system.👉 It was another tree.⸻🌳 THE SECOND TREE — THE TREE THAT SAVED THE WORLD📖 Acts 10:39–40“…whom they slew and hanged on a tree:Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;”Not just a cross.👉 A tree.👉 God answered a tree… with a tree.📖 Galatians 3:13“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse… being made a curse for us…”On that tree:👉 Our curse became His👉 Our sin became His👉 Our judgment became HisAnd when Jesus cried, “It is finished”…Everything changed.Because it wasn’t just a tree that saved us…👉 it was the One who hung on it.📖 Philippians 2:9 (KJV)“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”👉 There is a Name…that carries the power of that tree.And at that Name…what the first tree broke…can finally be made whole again.⸻❤️ THIS IS RECONCILIATION📖 Romans 5:8–9“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Much more then, being now justified by his blood….”We don’t climb up to God.👉 God came down to us.We don’t earn salvation.👉 We receive it.📖 Romans 10:13“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”Whosoever.That means…👉 You.⸻🌿 THE THIRD TREE — THE PROMISE THAT COMPLETES THE STORYThe story began with a tree…and was redeemed by a tree…👉 but God didn’t stop there.He finishes the story… with a tree.📖 Revelation 22:14 (KJV)“…that they may have right to the tree of life…”The first tree👉 brought the fallThe second tree👉 brought salvationAnd the third tree…👉 is eternal life with God⸻From the garden…to the cross…to glory…🌳 God has been telling us the Gospel story all along…through two very different trees.👉 Redemption.👉 Reconciliation.👉 Restoration.⸻And maybe someone reading this today feels like everything is broken…But God already made a way to make it whole again.👉 It didn’t happen by accident.👉 And it is received through a Name.👉 It happened on a tree.⸻If this spoke to your heart…consider sharing it with someone who may need this today.This page exists for moments like this.I write for the person who is hurting… but still holding on. 🙏
