📖 Matthew 7:20 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
YOUR FRUIT
Your fruit defines who and what you are—before God and before men.
A person cannot and will not be separated from their fruit.
📖 Jude 1:12 “These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water… trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;”
The book of Jude is plain and direct. Those without fruit are described as:
Spots
Without fear
Carried about (unstable)
Fruit withered
Without fruit
Twice dead
Plucked up by the roots
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?
It means many pretend to be Christians.
📖 Galatians 5:22–23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
📖 Galatians 5:24 “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”
THE DIFFERENCE
A true Christian is known by their fruit—and it is not what Jude describes.
“They that are Christ’s” have done something: They have crucified the flesh—not by effort alone, but through salvation and a life led by the Holy Ghost.
Those who are not Christ’s still live in the flesh.
And their fruit will reveal it—every time.
🔥 BOTTOM LINE
You can polish an image.
You can shape a reputation.
But you cannot hide your fruit.
Your life will preach louder than your lips.
