"NO MORE, NO MORE, PRAISE GOD, NO MORE" "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:4)When we're in the midst of all the troubling things that come into our life, many a time tears stream down our cheeks. There's the death of a loved one, resulting in sorrow and tears because of the loneliness and grief that sets in. Everything that brings us tears and pain down here, will pass away up there. Why? Because that day called the "No Mores" is coming!The fact is that our daily life is often filled with troubles and turmoil. A few days before our Lord's crucifixion, Jesus said, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33) Because of His promise, we can have peace and be of good cheer. He overcame the things of the world, and we can and will as well.To be sure, there are burdens to bear today. There are battles that must be fought today. There are the bruised and broken hearts of the lost that need a healing Hand from Heaven today. And yet, with all that lies before us, we can easily grow weary with tears in our labor for the Lord. At times we see very little fruit. But Paul tells us, "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." (1 Corinthians 15:58) With those inspired words in our very heart and soul, let's remain unmovable in our conduct, unmovable in our convictions, and unmovable in our confidence in what Christ has done, and will do, when we see Him face to face. Let's continue weeping for the lost and reap with joy for the task He has called us to do. Let's always be abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord, our service for our Saviour is never in vain. Yes friends, for those of us whom God hath bought and paid for, there is a glad and glorious day that awaits. Let's carry on with our labor for the Lord while we look to and long for that day when the "No Mores" that bring our tears shall all be wiped away!
