Dead religion—Going through motions, repeating words, keeping traditions… but no life. Dead families—A house full of people, but no truth, no unity, no God. Dead jobs—Working, earning, climbing… but empty inside. Dead retirement—Waiting your whole life for “rest,” only to find boredom and no purpose. Dead entertainment—Constant noise, screens, and distractions… but no peace. Dead politics—Promises, power, and platforms… but no real answers for the soul. Dead education—Learning everything about the world, yet knowing nothing about God. Dead success—Gaining everything people admire… and still having nothing that lasts. Dead self-help—Endless advice to “fix yourself,” but no power to change the heart.Why seek the living among the dead?Jesus Christ is not found in empty systems, lifeless routines, or hollow substitutes.He is RISEN.And because He lives, life is not found in this world—it is found in Him.Most people are not in a grave…but they are surrounded by dead things and don’t even realize it. They chase what cannot satisfy. They build on what cannot last. They fill their lives with what cannot give life.And then they wonder why they still feel empty.The angel didn’t say, “Search harder.”He said, “He is not here.”You’re looking in the wrong place.APPLICATION Stop looking for life where there is none. You won’t find it in religion without Christ. You won’t find it in success without truth. You won’t find it in pleasure without purpose. You won’t find it in politics without righteousness.Life is not found in what is dead.Life is found in a Risen Saviour.Don’t spend your life standing at empty tombs—looking for something that isn’t there.Turn to the One who is alive.
