They spent more on their military than the next several empires combined. They stretched their legions across every corner of the known world. They had the most advanced weapons, the best-trained soldiers, and an empire that was supposed to last forever.
And then came the leadership. Emperors more interested in ego than strategy. Generals promoted for loyalty instead of competence. Endless wars that drained the treasury and exhausted the people. Sound familiar?
Rome didn't fall because it was weak. It fell because the people in charge were.
