Head Down. Love Overflowing.⸻🌿 On this Palm Sunday…As Jesus entered Jerusalem…some lifted their voices in praise……and others, in just a few days, would cry out in despair.And somewhere in between…are all of us.Trying to find the words…trying to find the way…trying to pray.⸻There are prayers we all recognize…“Our Father which art in heaven…”“The Lord is my shepherd…”“Create in me a clean heart, O God…”And those are beautiful.Sacred.Timeless.But today…I want to share three simple… often overlooked prayers.Not long…Not polished…👉 But filled with power.These are not long prayers… but they are life-changing ones.A trinity of truth.Three simple prayers…👉 That can transform your life.⸻📖 II Chronicles 20:12 (KJV)“…neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.”📖 Luke 18:13“God be merciful to me a sinner.”📖 Matthew 15:25“Lord, help me.”⸻Because when life overwhelms you…you don’t need many words…👉 you need the right ones.⸻👉 EYES UP“Our eyes are upon thee.”(II Chronicles 20:12)Judah was surrounded.Outnumbered.Outmatched.Out of answers.And Jehoshaphat prayed:👉 “We do not know what to do……but our eyes are upon thee.”That is where transformation begins.Not when we figure it out…👉 But when we look up.Just like in the wilderness…When the brass serpent was lifted up…They did not fix themselves…👉 They looked… and lived.And so do we.⸻🙏 HEAD DOWN“God be merciful to me a sinner.”(Luke 18:13)Now the posture changes.Eyes lifted…now lowered.The publican stands afar off…He will not even lift his eyes to heaven.No pride.No performance.No pretending.Just this:👉 “God… be merciful to me.”That is the prayer that brings grace.Because before God changes us…👉 He humbles us.⸻❤️ LOVE OVERFLOWING“Lord, help me.”(Matthew 15:25)Now comes the most honest prayer of all.Not long.Not polished.Not theological.A mother asking Jesus for her daughter’s rescue simply asks this:👉 “Lord, help me.”No speech.No structure.No strength left.Just…👉 desperation👉 dependence👉 faith in its purest formAnd here is the beautiful truth:God does not require perfect prayers…👉 He responds to honest ones.📖 Romans 8:26“…the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”There are moments in life when: • You don’t know what to say • You don’t know what to do • You don’t even know how to prayAnd in that moment…👉 “Lord, help me” is enough.⸻✨ A TRINITY OF POWER ✨Think about it…EYES UPHEAD DOWNLOVE OVERFLOWINGThree prayers.Three movements of the soul.Three truths…👉 that can change everything.⸻But don’t miss this…Some of the most powerful prayersare never spoken out loud.They are whispered…• In hospital rooms• At kitchen tables with unpaid bills• In the quiet hours of the night• For a child who hasn’t come home• For burdens no one else can seeAnd every one of them matters!Someone you know is praying one of these prayers right now…even if they’ve never said the words out loud.And in Heaven… you will find them there.📖 Revelation 5:8 (KJV)“…golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.”👉 Golden.👉 Precious.👉 Remembered.👉 Heard.Not one prayer… ever lost.Not one tear… ever unnoticed.👉 Your prayers are not ignored.👉 They are being held... by God Himself.⸻This page exists for moments like this.This is why I write these.👉 I write for the person who is hurting… but still holding on.And if that’s you today…You don’t need perfect words.Sometimes… it’s just:👉 “Lord… help me.”⸻🙏 Lord, our eyes are upon Thee.Lord, be merciful to me a sinner.Lord, help me.Amen.If this touched your heart…👉 share it — someone you love needs this today.
