We’re in full spring mode over here - even if the calendar says it doesn’t officially start until Friday. Nampa clearly didn’t get the memo, because we’re looking at temps hovering around 80 all the way into the weekend.
Yesterday I tackled the front yard: raked everything out, cleaned up the little cement patio under my bedroom window where the birds and squirrels basically ran a winter resort, and filled two big trash cans with sunflower seed and peanut shells from under the squirrel tree.
The garden’s waking up too — my peonies are starting to re‑emerge, the potted mint is pushing new growth, and the daffodils and hyacinths are already blooming. Tulips won’t be far behind.
This morning I’m taking Dubs on his daily adventure, getting my hair trimmed, and then I’ll be back out in the yard. There’s always something to do, but I don’t think of it as a chore... it’s one of those things that reminds me how lucky I am to have a home and a little garden for us to enjoy.❤☀️🌷🌿🐦🌳🐿️🥜🌱🌸
