Sound Biblical AdviceProverbs 3:5-7 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.” Have you ever reached a moment in life when you just did not know what to do? The Holy Spirit in these verses shows us what we should do. It is simple yet sound advice. Trust in the LORD. Follow the LORD and by faith obey the truth He has given in His Word. Be careful that you do not lean unto your own understanding. Most likely it was human reasoning that got you into the problem you are facing. Acknowledge the LORD with every decision you have to make. This means you ask, does God have anything to say about this in the Bible? You make sure your goal is to please Him. Make sure your decision is on the same side as God or agreeable with God. This is the way to allow Him to direct your paths. Fear the LORD. A holy reverence and respect of the LORD gives you courage to depart from evil and any evil way. Life can be challenging and difficult, but our LORD gives us direction. May we learn to fully trust and follow His way.
