THE BURNING BUSH I have never had an anti-Israel or anti-Jewish attitude, and I have serious doubts about people who do have them. When faithfully reading the scriptures, both Old Testament and New Testament, anyone with a good heart and reasonably sound mind can clearly see that God loves the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Those who can't see it have serious problems, because they fail to understand the mind of God when reading the very book that he inspired and preserved for them. Time and time again, when reading God's Book, these people somehow manage to overlook the great truths that are nearest to God's heart while signing-on to some of the dumbest views imaginable. "The church is the new Israel . . . God's finished with Israel, because the Jews have had 2,000 years to repent and haven't done so . . . Zionism is of the devil . . ." It never ends! These people can read the book of Esther and fail to see the typology of Esther replacing Vashti as queen. They can read Ezekiel 37 and fail to see the restoration and salvation of the nation of Israel. They can read Matthew 19:28 and still claim that God is done with Israel. They can read Isaiah 66 and still be as blind as a bat. They can read Revelation 12 and completely miss the fact that Hosea 2:14-16 is being fulfilled with Israel in the Tribulation. The twelve tribes of Israel are actually NAMED in Revelation, and their names are on the eternal gates of New Jerusalem (!), yet the best that some people can do is claim that the nation of Israel is the synagogue of Satan. If you are such a person, I have a question for you: WHY THE BURNING BUSH? In Exodus 3, when God called Moses to lead Israel out of Egypt, why did he reveal himself to Moses in a burning bush that was NOT CONSUMED? (Exo. 3:2) Think on that one for a few days, and if you're still too stupid to get it, try reading Malachi 3:6 where God spells it out for you. Truth is, some of YOU will be consumed, but God will fulfill every word he has spoken regarding Israel: "Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah." (Psa. 59:13)Even in her unbelief, God used Israel to bring his Son into the world, and Satan has fought this from the beginning. So, if YOU'RE fighting it, we know who you're following.
