CHURCH
Many people say they love Jesus, but they criticize or avoid the church.
Yet the Bible says Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it.
So why do I love my church?
(1) I’m not looking for a 'p e r f e c t’ church.
They do not exist. Churches are filled with people just like us—saved sinners still growing in Christ.
(2) I’m not looking for a ā€˜b i g’ church.
Big buildings are easy to find, but people with big hearts for God and His Word are far more important.
(3) I’m not looking for a pastor with 'm u l t i p l e’ d e g r e e s.
Degrees may educate a man, but the ministry must depend on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, not academic credentials.
(4) I’m not looking for p r o g r a m s.
Jesus and the apostles did not build the church around programs—they built it around preaching the Word of God.
šŸ“– Second Epistle to Timothy 4:2 ā€œPreach the wordā€¦ā€
(5) I love my church because we believe the Bible (KJV) is the Word of God.
Not a book that must be corrected by unseen and unavailable ā€œoriginal manuscripts,ā€ but the preserved Word of God given to His people.
Final Thought
Christ loved the church enough to die for it.
That alone is reason enough for me to love it too.
The real question is not whether the church is perfect.
The question is: Do you love what Christ loved enough to die for?

I've heard many say they don't need the church , said the lion to the gazelle. Church is where you learn about your relationship with God and it strengthen your life.
