🚨WOW: West Elementary School in Alabama has become the first in the United States to install ballistic pods in classrooms.
The $60,000 rapid-deployment room sits in the corner of each classroom and can expand in just 10 seconds to create a bullet-resistant shelter for students and staff. It’s designed to protect against active shooters as well as severe weather events like tornadoes.
Is this needed in every school?

Sad that it's come to this. Back in my day, as my dad would've said in Spanish, our biggest concern was who was fighting who in the playground at 3:00. Then there was Miss Culpeper, or mis-escopeta as we called her, the MEANEST hooman to ever run a classroom. 1f628.png(Escopeta is Spanish for rifle)
