When the state shortchanges schools, it doesn’t disappear — it shows up on your property tax bill.
And the worst part? They have no reason to fix it as long as they can keep reaching into your wallet.

One of the comments was that when the number of students gets too low, shut down the school and move the remaining students to the nearest one. The problem is that would end their scam on the taxpayers.
