Unfortunately, Kristy Nome’s downfall was brought about by her own poor judgement leaving President Trump with a couple of conundrums. How to relieve Kristy from her post without causing damage to the party and with whom to replace her. He had to find a way to give Nome a graceful way of ‘saving face’. He offered her a supposed lateral move and created a new agency to give her to run. (less power, less budget, less prestige) But before he did that, he had to find the best qualified immediate replacement that would not weaken Republican power in congress, “Senator Mullin”. The President is not infallible and like his first administration he doesn’t always get the best advice. The BIG difference between Trump and all previous national politicians is that Trump doesn’t cover it up, he admits, corrects and sets protocols to prevent those same mistakes from happening again.
