SATAN ACCUSES AT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT?Today I ran across yet another overly zealous preacher who stated that Satan will likely play the roll of a prosecuting attorney at the white throne judgment. This nonsense is the result of preachers wanting to be dramatic and get amens, not the result of them understanding and enduring sound doctrine, as the scriptures command. Satan is certainly the accuser TODAY (Rev. 12:19), and Jesus is our advocate (I John 2:1), but there is no scripture that says or even implies that Satan will even BE at the white throne judgment, much less be playing a major roll. In fact, we are told very clearly that Satan is cast into the lake of fire immediately BEFORE the white throne judgment (Rev. 20:10)! The blindness of some preachers is quite incredible.
