No Fear Of GodPsalms 36:1“The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.”Romans 3:18“There is no fear of God before their eyes.”The word transgression speaks of sin that is in rebellion against God. Transgression is sin with an attitude of arrogance before God. Such a person has no fear of God in their heart. The word fear means to have reverence, awe, or dread. I like to define the phrase “fear of God” as to believe and live in the truth that everything the Bible says about God is true and everything it says He will do, He will do. The person who sins arrogantly before the LORD doesn’t believe that God is holy and in His time He will judge. Twice we read in the Bible of those who have “no fear of God”. In light of what the phrase truly means and all that we see going on in the world today we can conclude that many have forgotten that there is a holy God in Heaven.Psalms 9:16-17“The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.”May God be merciful.
