#news Fast Fact: Hillary Clinton said Bill''s affair with Monica Lewinsky was a 'vast right wing conspiracy,' the day after Bill gave his famous "I did not have sexual relations with that woman' speech

Hillary then reportedly blamed Lewinsky saying she was a narcissistic loony toon.
As Hillary continues to claim that Bill's trips on the Lolita Express and relationship with Jeffery Epstein were purely 'philanthropic' in nature - many are now bringing up the reaction she had when the Monica Lewinsky story was made public - initially completely denying any wrongdoing.
Bill Clinton stood before the nation on January 26, 1998, and emphatically denied any sexual involvement with White House intern Monica Lewinsky,
"I did not have sexual relations with that woman"
"I never told anybody to lie, not a single time, never. These allegations are false."
He was later impeached.
The very next day, Hillary Clinton took to the airwaves calling the 'lies' against her husband a "vast right-wing conspiracy"
"The great story here for anybody willing to find it and write about it and explain it is this vast right-wing conspiracy that has been conspiring against my husband since the day he announced for president."
She said the allegations were politically motivated attacks linking them to independent counsel Kenneth Starr and republicans.
She said she supported Bill, and knew he was telling the truth.
According to notes from her close friend and political science professor Diane Blair, Hillary described Lewinsky as a "narcissistic loony toon" and blamed Lewinsky for the affair that Bill allegedly tried to break off.
There were also allegations against Bill of sexual abuse from women like Paula Jones and Juanita Broaddrick - however republicans say those accusations were downplayed or discredited by the Clintons as well.
Despite all the emphatic denials to the media - Bill indeed had an affair with Lewinsky.
The Starr Report released in September 1998, detailed explicit sexual encounters and how Clinton tried to hide them.
Clinton eventually admitted to the affair in a televised address, where he confessed to an "inappropriate" relationship but claimed his earlier testimony was "legally accurate."
He was impeached on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice.

Critics are now pointing out that Clintons have a history of engaging in activities that they then lie about, and only 'come clean' about if it is proven.
