Meet Bandit! He came to us all the way from Texas to southern Ca! And then moved to Lovelock Nevada with us?? Bandit was on a trailer with several other ponies possibly headed to slaughter or who knows where, we do know the trailer belonged to a known killbuyer, so there is no saying what may have happened to these ponies. The group of ponies was purchased by another rescue and Bandit came to us as a transfer?? He was feral, has no ears most likely lost to frostbite. He is extremelly reactive and suspicious of most everything. I ended up with a broken finger while first working with him, totally my fault. After three years, patience is finally starting to pay off! We can now brush his long beautiful mane (on his terms) lol. And he asks for treats! Yay!!!!
