This is Brady Heiling, a 19-year-old standout football player from MACCRAY High School in Minnesota, who tragically lost his life in a head-on crash in Wisconsin on July 20, 2025. Brady and his girlfriend, 18-year-old Hallie Helgeson, were returning from a concert when their vehicle was struck by a wrong-way driver on the interstate in Dane County. The driver, Noelia Saray Martinez-Avila—a Honduran national illegally in the U.S.—was allegedly intoxicated with a blood alcohol level over twice the legal limit (.208) and had a prior drunk driving conviction. Hallie died at the scene, while Brady fought for his life but succumbed to his injuries five days later on July 25. Despite sanctuary policies delaying federal involvement, ICE lodged a detainer and later arrested her. Brady's story is a heartbreaking reminder of the real human cost when immigration laws aren't enforced and repeat offenders remain free to cause devastation. His memory fuels unwavering support for ICE and secure borders to protect innocent Americans from preventable tragedies like this. Rest in peace, Brady.
