Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.”
The danger of a trap is not how painful it looks — it’s how right it looks before it snaps shut.
The world rarely presents sin as destruction. It presents it as opportunity, success, pleasure, freedom, acceptance, or happiness. The bait changes, but the trap is always the same.
Some are caught by money.
Others by pride.
Some by religion without truth.
Others by pleasure, popularity, bitterness, or worldly ambition.
Satan never advertises the consequence — only the reward.
The enemy sets traps for the soul, not just the life. What seems harmless today can slowly bind a heart away from God tomorrow.
Jesus warned plainly:
John 10:10 “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Every trap of the world promises life but produces loss. Only Christ gives real life.
Many people are not running toward evil — they are simply walking a road that seems right. That is why salvation is not found in human reasoning, good intentions, or worldly success.
There is only one safe path:
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Before the trap closes, God gives warning through His Word.
Don’t follow what feels right.
Follow what God says is right.
Because eternity is at stake.
