On Friday, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in Roake v. Brumley that Louisiana’s law mandating that the Ten Commandments be displayed in public school classrooms would not be enjoined since no one had been harmed.
America’s Future filed an amicus brief supporting Louisiana, urging the court to permit the display as the law is constitutionally valid under both the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses of the First Amendment and compatible with America’s traditions and values.
