From Wayne Daniel -
The Left Is WRONG about the right… And some of y’all are so emotionally driven that you can’t see what’s actually at stake.
You keep saying conservatives can’t be Christians because they “don’t care.”
That we ignore the immigrants.
That we hate the poor.
That we’re fine with mistreatment.
Contrary to the Bible…
That’s lazy thinking.
It’s easier to demonize than to understand.
We are NOT okay with people being mistreated at all
We are NOT okay with children being exploited at all
We are NOT okay with families struggling at all
But here’s what you refuse to admit:
Wanting secure borders is not hatred.
Wanting law and order is not oppression.
Wanting a functioning country is not cruelty.
A nation without borders is chaos.
And chaos always hurts the poor first.
You can’t have compassion without structure.
You can’t have mercy without stability.
And no… we don’t believe the government is the savior of mankind.
We believe government exists to protect private rights.
To defend borders.
To preserve liberty.
Not to replace the Church.
Not to replace the family.
Not to replace personal responsibility.
You say we don’t care about feeding the hungry?
Christians were feeding the hungry before there was a federal welfare system.
Hospitals?
Started by the Catholic Church.
Food pantries?
Churches.
Orphan care?
Churches.
The Salvation Army didn’t wait for Congress to write a bill to help…
Believers didn’t outsource compassion to Caesar.
Here’s the real difference:
You believe compassion must be legislated.
We believe compassion must be lived.
You believe virtue can be forced.
We believe virtue must be chosen.
And when you hand the government unlimited power in the name of “helping people,” you don’t get compassion.
You get bureaucracy.
You get dependency.
You get corruption.
You get control.
You can’t use empathy as a weapon to silence debate.
You can’t label every non-liberal thinker “heartless” because we disagree with your methods.
We want:
Safe communities
Legal immigration
Thriving families
Strong faithful churches
Local solutions
Personal accountability
And yes, we DO want to help people.
But we refuse to believe the only way to help someone is to centralize power and grow government forever.
That is not compassion.
That is control disguised as compassion.
And some of y’all are so politically emotional that you can’t tell the difference.
Be sober-minded.
Stop reacting.
Start thinking long term.
Because if you keep trading liberty for feelings, you won’t like what you wake up to.
