BENGHAZI SUSPECT ARRESTED
After 14 years, a man accused of helping carry out the 2012 Benghazi attack has been taken into custody overseas and flown to the U.S. to face federal charges.
The Department of Justice says he’s charged with murder, terrorism, arson, and providing material support to terrorists.
At the announcement, Attorney General Pam Bondi referenced Hillary Clinton’s past remark — “What difference does it make?” — and said, “It makes a difference.”
FBI Director Kash Patel and U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro were present as the arrest was announced after the suspect arrived early this morning.
The Benghazi attack took the lives of:
• Ambassador Christopher Stevens
• Sean Smith
• Glen Doherty
• Tyrone Woods
For over a decade, families were told the investigation was ongoing.
Now, another alleged participant is in U.S. custody.
