ROCKOLLECTIONS: THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED PT.1 I saw that February 3rd would fall on the day of the terrestrial broadcast this year, and I was preparing for it. Another time that happened for Rockollections was Feb. 3rd 2009- remarkably 50 YEARS TO THE DAY for the anniversary of Rock & Roll's First Tragedy on Feb. 3rd 1959- the Plane Crash That Killed Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and The Big Bopper! I gave that old show a listen, and hearing all the things I had dug out- CD's, Old Vinyl Records, Old Tapes, and the presentation- I decided I could not really improve on it. Plus I wouldn't have to go around looking for all those things again, a not so easy task. So it's the old show you will hear, with a newly recorded Prologue.
