In the midst of all the angst, tension, and turmoil of the past 2 days, my soul cried out for memories of happier days. Haluski, with lots of bacon, onions, butter, and black pepper. No, it won't solve any problems, but for a few minutes I'm back in my grandma's kitchen. God bless us, every one.
