The REDACTED name however is only partially redacted (on purpose?), but there is enough there to make out what appears to be the name “Susan Hamblin” 🔻 Was there anyone named Susan Hamblin in Epstein’s orbit? Yes… In July 2020, Caroline Kaufman sued Jeffrey Epstein's estate in New York federal court, alleging that in 2010 (when she was 16–17) Susan Hamblin groomed her at a Lake Placid horse show by promising Epstein could launch her modeling career, then arranged a fake interview at his Manhattan home. There, an older woman (believed to be Ghislaine Maxwell) took nude photos, after which a naked Epstein allegedly raped her violently while she screamed; Hamblin ignored her cries, paid her $500, and threatened that Epstein — a powerful man who knew presidents — would kill her and her family if she spoke out. The Sun reported these claims in 2020–2021 articles. Hamblin sued the paper for libel in the UK, saying she never met Kaufman and the allegations were false. In May 2022, *The Sun* settled, retracted the stories, issued a public apology admitting the claims against Hamblin were untrue, and paid her compensation and costs.
