What REALLY HAPPENS when you OBEY officers and ACT accordingly, when you legally have a gun with you. Posted By Phillip Picasso-Stone - - I was pulled over last night by a Police Officer. Things looked "weird for us" for reasons lol I was armed with a weapon on my holster. I had 2 other people with me. I thanked the officer for his service to keeping the town safe, and for checking on us, someone called them concerned, and he was checking up on what was happening. During the 3 minutes incident my hands were up showing him I intended to cause no issues. My friends didn't run scream yell at him or told him to leave me alone don't touch me yada yada yada, they just stood up calmly, listening. I told him "as you can see I have a weapon on my waist Officer," "you're welcome to unholster it and inspect it, and I'll answer all your questions" in my LATINO BROWN SKIN ACCENT!! He asked me what was going on, what we were doing there, who we were, appropriate for the situation questions. I explained it to him, there was a reason for my car to be parked the way it was and who we were, while we remained calm, respectful, polite and pleasant to the Officer with my hands extended palms up showing him he didn't need to fear for his life, as I was not fearing for mine, because we both were just doing our different jobs. Another co-worker, a super amazing cool Californian African American friend, came by and told the officer "Good Night Sir, how are you, they are working for me and this (I can't comment) is what they are doing" The officer smiled and said "okie dokie" and walked back to his car. NOBODY GOT SHOT ! Give that 👮🏻 a raise !
