‘We dance around in a ring and suppose.
But the secret sits in the middle and knows.’
From the poem ‘Ring Around’ by Robert Frost, first published in Poetry Magazine (April 1936).
22-degree halo spotted by Sylvia Alcaraz (Cloud Appreciation Society Member 48,594) over Lutz, Florida, US. This ring around the not-so-secret Sun was caused by light refracting through tiny hexagonal columns of ice in this high layer cloud, Cirrostratus.
