2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and n e v e r able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
It is possible to hear sermons for years, carry a Bible, know the language of Christianity, and still n e v e r submit to the truth of God. Knowledge alone does not save. Attendance does not transform. Familiarity does not equal obedience.
Paul warned of people who are always learning—but n e v e r arriving. They collect information, but r e s i s t conviction. They enjoy teaching, but r e j e c t correction. They sit under truth while quietly hardening their hearts against it.
The danger is not ignorance.
The danger is resistance.
Truth demands a r e s p o n s e. When God’s Word exposes sin, pride, or unbelief, the honest heart yields.
The s t u b b o r n heart r e s i s t s. Over time, resistance becomes a habit—and conscience grows dull.
Church was n e v e r meant to be a place to hide from God, but a place to be confronted by Him.
Today is not about how much you know.
It’s about whether you will receive the truth God has already shown you.
“Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.” (Hebrews 3:15)
Don’t just sit.
Don’t just listen.
Don’t just learn.
Submit to the truth
