Some of that money was used to pay former football player Brett Favre for speaking engagements he never performed and build a new volleyball stadium at his daughter’s college. All 6 people plead guilty or were convicted of both state and federal charges, and the Biden administration ordered the state to pay back the $100 million in restitution.Trump and his Department of Justice have now given Mississippi a pass, rescinding the entire fine.
