HAHAHA in his zeal to try to nail Lindsey Halligan for making false statements to his court for signing "US Attorney for EDVA" on indictments, Judge David Novak, a one-time colleague of James Comey, got his timeline wrong. Novak demanded to know why Halligan was still using that title after a separate judge had dismissed Comey's indictment (and Tish James') after ruling Halligan's appointment was unconstitutional. (That ruling is on appeal.) But Novak cited a criminal indictment signed by Halligan nearly a week BEFORE the other judge disqualified Halligan. AG Bondi calls Novak's error "a factual mistake that forecloses the premise of misconduct on which the Court’s inquiry is based." She continued: "The Court’s thinly veiled threat to use attorney discipline to cudgel the Executive Branch into conforming its legal position in all criminal prosecutions to the views of a single district judge is a gross abuse of power and an affront to the separation of powers." What a burn by DOJ:
