Matthew 7:13 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:”One of the most dangerous lies of our day is this: “Everyone is going to Heaven.”It sounds kind. It sounds tolerant. But it directly contradicts the words of the Lord Jesus Christ.Jesus did not say most are saved. He said many are on the broad road to destruction. Truth is not cruel—lies are. A lie that assures a lost soul they are safe when they are not is the cruelest thing imaginable.Salvation is not inherited. It is not earned. It is not assumed. Church attendance, morality, or good intentions do not put anyone through the strait gate. Only repentance and faith in Jesus Christ do.The Bible makes it clear: there are two gates, two ways, and two destinations. Heaven is real—but so is Hell. Love tells the truth, even when the truth offends.Today is not about pretending. Today is about preparing.Not about hoping. About knowing.“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5).Don’t follow the crowd. Follow Christ. The narrow way still leads to life—and the gate is still open… for now.
