It is a tragedy that a woman lost her life—in part because of the radical leftist ideology she was consumed by. She was probably convinced that ICE agents were dangerous, that they were acting on behalf of a Nazi regime, and that it was noble & necessary to act as a vigilante on behalf of criminal illegal aliens. It was noble to block their cars & impede their operations. Imagine being told, for an entire year or more, that ICE is rounding up brown people and sending them to concentration camps. If you genuinely believe that, it IS terrifying. It feels like an emergency. It creates panic, moral hysteria, and a false sense of heroism. And that lie didn’t come from some fringe corner of the internet alone. The TV said it. TikTok said it. Her governor said it. Her congresswoman said it. Her friends said it. The message was repeated endlessly until fiction felt like fact. So it’s no wonder she thought she was doing the right thing. No wonder she believed she was “standing up to evil.” But ideology doesn’t protect you from reality. Now she’s dead. She helped no one. No criminal was redeemed. No “concentration camp” was shut down. Instead, three children are without a mother. A family has lost someone they loved. And no illegal aliens will be set free in her honor. This is the real, human cost of reckless political rhetoric. I have warned—over and over—about what happens when the left abandons truth and replaces it with apocalyptic propaganda. When they convince ordinary people that violence, lawlessness, and vigilantism are moral duties. They will not learn from this. They never do. They won’t soften their language. They won’t take responsibility. They will only double down, escalate the rhetoric, and radicalize the next person—until another tragedy proves the point again.
